Octopus API Part 1a: Returning Properties


This post doesn’t expand very much on the previous post, other than demonstrating how to set a PowerShell variable to property returned by the API. This is important because the names given to things like proerties, machines etc are not used throughout the API, so it is important to know that you’ll need to get ID’s from names of objects.

Below we retrieve the Id of the Project “bzzt”
